The Datastroyer 101-CD high security CD shredder boasts of steel and aluminum internal parts, a long life cutting system, serial number retention, power-failure safety, and visibility of the disc throughout destruction. This multimedia shredder meets NSA/CSS specification 04-02 for optical media destruction and has GSA pricing available for government applications. The Datastroyer 101-CD high security shredder is made of durable metal materials, both the housing and internal parts, yet only weighs 15 lbs making it completely portable. The specially designed cutting system ensures the long life of the machine at a cycle speed of 4-5 seconds and 1 CD per pass. The final product is completely sanitized however the individual serial number unique to each CD remains intact for security auditing. In addition to this handy feature, the destruction process can be monitored throughout for added security that the disc was shredded to level 6/P-7 standards.
